BARABAI – Kodim 1002/Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST) terus mempercepat pembangunan empat jembatan yang tersebar di tiga kecamatan sebagai bagian dari upaya meningkatkan konektivitas dan memperlancar akses transportasi masyarakat. Untuk mendukung percepatan pekerjaan, material baja wide flange (WF) mulai didatangkan ke sejumlah lokasi proyek pada Selasa (14/7/2026).
Koordinator Pembangunan Jembatan Kodim 1002/HST, Kapten Inf M. Fadillah, mengatakan kedatangan material baja WF menjadi tahapan penting dalam percepatan pembangunan Jembatan Garuda yang berada di Desa Birayang Surapati, Kecamatan Batang Alai Selatan, serta Desa Teluk Masjid, Kecamatan Haruyan.
“Material besi WF telah didatangkan agar proses pembangunan Jembatan Garuda di Desa Birayang Surapati dan Desa Teluk Masjid dapat berjalan sesuai jadwal yang telah ditetapkan,” ujar Kapten Inf M. Fadillah.
Selain pembangunan dua Jembatan Garuda, progres pembangunan dua Jembatan Armco juga terus mengalami perkembangan. Di Desa Bakapas, Kecamatan Barabai, pekerjaan saat ini difokuskan pada pengecoran lantai jembatan. Sementara di Desa Ayuang, pengerjaan dilanjutkan pada tahap pemasangan konstruksi pagar jembatan.
Menurut Fadillah, seluruh tahapan pembangunan dilakukan secara bertahap dengan tetap mengutamakan kualitas konstruksi agar jembatan yang dibangun memiliki kekuatan, keamanan, dan umur layanan yang optimal bagi masyarakat.
Ia menambahkan, personel Kodim 1002/HST bersama masyarakat terus bekerja secara maksimal guna mengejar target penyelesaian proyek sesuai jadwal yang telah ditentukan.
“Kami optimistis pembangunan empat jembatan di tiga kecamatan wilayah Kodim 1002/HST dapat diselesaikan tepat waktu sehingga segera dimanfaatkan masyarakat untuk memperlancar akses transportasi dan mendukung aktivitas ekonomi warga,” katanya.
Pembangunan empat jembatan tersebut merupakan bagian dari komitmen Kodim 1002/HST dalam mendukung pembangunan infrastruktur di wilayah Hulu Sungai Tengah. Kehadiran jembatan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan konektivitas antarwilayah, mempercepat mobilitas masyarakat, serta memberikan dampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pelayanan publik di daerah.
